Deep expertise at every layer
Our primary cloud platform. We design, deploy, and operate full OpenStack environments — Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Glance, Keystone — on bare-metal with KVM virtualization. Occasionally OpenNebula for specific client requirements.
Enterprise-scale Ceph clusters for block (RBD), object (RGW), and filesystem (CephFS) storage. Tightly integrated with OpenStack Cinder and Nova for seamless compute-storage coupling across large node counts.
High-throughput data center networking built on Mellanox 100 GbE switch technology. RDMA, SR-IOV passthrough, and VXLAN overlay networks engineered for the latency demands of distributed storage and live VM migration.
Debian is our foundation. System programming, hardware tuning, security hardening, and large-scale Debian fleet management. We build systems that run for years without unplanned downtime.
Battle-tested automation stack: Buildbot for CI/CD pipelines, Autobahn/Crossbar for WAMP-based microservice routing, and Pyro5 for distributed Python RPC — all running natively on bare-metal.
From single-node deployments to multi-region clusters with thousands of transactions per second. Streaming replication, logical replication, connection pooling, query optimization, and pgvector for AI-era workloads.

The person behind Knixus
Over 30 years of industry experience spanning cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and enterprise software delivery. 15 years as a project manager driving large-scale technology programmes. Founded Knixus Technologies to build a cloud platform for the Seqular community, and the Seqular Free Software Developer Community to foster open-source collaboration in a federated social ecosystem.
